Authors' Responsibilities

Reporting Standards

Authors must present their original research work with an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data should be represented accurately in the paper.

Authors should make sure sufficient details and references be contained in their paper to allow other researchers to replicate the work, which is methodologically replicable.

BISMAR does not accept or consider any fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements, as such actions constitute unethical behaviour in the submissions.

Data Access and Retention

A data access statement should be provided by the authors in case that the raw data of their study be requested to provide for the editors or readers of their published work.

Accessibility of such data to other competent professionals should be ensured for at least five years after publication.

Originality, Plagiarism and Acknowledgement of Sources

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are completely original works. If the authors used someone else's work or words, they must provide correct citation or quotation.

Plagiarism can take numerous forms, such as presenting someone else's work as one's own, copying or paraphrasing significant portions of another person's work without proper attribution, or claiming the results of other people's study.

Plagiarism, in any form, is unethical publication behaviour that is unacceptable.

Multiple, Redundant or Concurrent Publication

In general, an author should avoid publishing articles presenting the same research in multiple journals or primary publications. It is unethical and improper to submit the same paper to many journals at the same time.

In general, an author should not resubmit a previously published manuscript to another publication.

Some types of papers (for example, clinical guidelines and translations) can be published in multiple journals if specific conditions are met. The authors and editors of the relevant journals must agree on the secondary publication, which must include the same facts and interpretation as the initial paper.

The primary source must be referenced in the secondary publication.

Authorship of the Paper

Authorship is quite crucial. Co-authors for BISMAR should only be individuals who have made a major contribution to the reported research work, such as conceptualisation, research design, execution, and/or interpretation.

The related author should ensure that no uninvolved persons are named.

Only one corresponding author is permitted for JLISS. He or she must ensure that all co-authors have agreed on the final version of the work for publishing in BISMAR.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

The author(s) must state and disclose any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that may have an impact on the paper's conclusions or interpretation.

If any financial assistance for the initiative exists, it should be disclosed.

Policy on Informed Consent for Human Subjects

All research papers submitted to the Business and Management Strategic involving Human Subjects must adhere to acknowledged ethical and professional guidelines.

Specifically, if the work involves the use of human subjects, the author(s) must include a statement in the publication that clearly states that all procedures were carried out in accordance with relevant laws and institutional norms, as well as with the consent of competent institutional committee(s).

Furthermore, the report should include a statement indicating that the authors got informed consent for human subject experimentation.

The privacy rights of human subjects must always be respected.

For human subjects, the author(s) must ensure that the work described was carried out in accordance with the World Medical Association's Code of Ethics (Declaration of Helsinki) for human research.

If authors desire to incorporate case data or other personal information, as well as photos of patients and other individuals, they must get proper consents, permissions, and releases.

Furthermore, he or she should save a copy of the written consents.
